Apporximately 8 miles today. Ran to Liberty park from my house did 2 laps around the park. When I got back I added 6 brun outs. My legs felt really heavy through out the workout. I don't know exactly how many miles I ran because I don't have a watch, but I calculated by looking at google map. Thanks google map.

4 miles today. We warmed up with 1 mile and 1 mile speed changes and then did 4 400s. My splits were 72,72,76,75. cooled down for a mile. Good luck to all the girls racing tommarow. Ready to kill it on wednesday.

Just easy 40 min run with some picks in the middle. I felt really nice and ready to kill it tomarrow!

Race: Davis Super Meet 2015 (boys only) (1 Miles) 00:05:19, Place in age division: 2

Did about a mile and a half warmup with strides. I raced the mile and my time was 5:19 (new PR). I went a little faster on the first lap than I was supposed to. I was toward of the end the pack at the beginning, but I started passing a lot of people and ended up second in my heat. cooled down for .75 miles. I am really happy with my time I PRed by 16 seconds. I dropped almost a minute off in 2 months.

P.S. welcome to the blog! :)

Thanks.

I did 4.2 two miles with some pick ups in the middle on my own today.

Race: Running of the Leopards 5K (3.107 Miles) 00:18:38, Place overall: 19, Place in age division: 4

First did about 2 miles warmup with some strides. I my race was good compare to my previous 5ks, but I felt awful during the race. After I did a mile cooldown on my own. After Bill, Sarah and I went out for about 8 miles to finish up our miles.

14 miles total today.

9.2 Miles today. I went to Sugar House Park from my house and did two laps there and came back the same way I went.

We were originally gonna do some kind of hard speed today, but because of the wind Bill had to cancell it, so we went to Liberty Park, took the long way and did 10 min on 10 min off fart lake. I felt really good and I worked hard. After, we came back to the track and I had to leave a liitle early so I left, but other teammates finished up to 10. I got little over 9 today.

Today we warmed up with the mile of speed changes and couple more laps loosen up more, and then we headed to the Asphalt Hill and did 6 hill strides there. During the hill strides my legs felt heavy and I didn't think was going fast enough. Then we did 2*1000, 2*800, 2*400, 3*200. My splits were: 3:28, 3:26 on 1000s, 2:44, 2:45 on the 800s, 72, 73 on the 400s, and finally for the 200s 34, 35,36. I died in the crashed in the middle of the 2nd 200 and last one I don't know what happened. When we were doing the actual speed my legs felt fine. Total mileage was 7.5. Awesome workout.

Shout out to Sarah for being the Prep of the Week. I watched that segment and I was in it too.

Did a lap around sunnyside and back to track for warmp up. We did one more lap to loosen up and then did 100M on 80%, 300M on 100%, 100M on 80%, 500M on 100%, 100M on 80%, and 500M on 100% continous. My time was 5:41. And then did 4 100M strides with 50M at moderate speed and last 50M fast. Did the same loop as sunnyside for cool down ad finished up 6 at the track.

Did mile and half warmup, mile and a half of speed changes and mile of cooldown. Legs felt fine. Ready to kill it tomorrow. With the 2 laps warmup I got 4 and half today.

Did 2 laps around Nibley Golf Course for warmup and did ladder Fartlake. Workout was 1 min on 1 min off, 2 min on, 1 min off, 3 min on 1 min off, 4 min on 2 min off, 5 min on 2 min off and started over going backwards. finished the lap and added another lap for cool down. Wasn't feeling the best during hte workout.

AM: Easy 6 miles

PM: Went to sugar house park and did 10 hill strides there and cam back home.

Today was a little wired because I thought I was gonna do premier stuff, but I ended up doing two 2 mile tempo at 6:45-7 min pace, which is not bad. On the first one I went 13:16 (little faster than I was supposed to) and on the second one 13: 37(right on time). Ran back home. Since I did tempo today I might not be racing tomorrow, but I am still going there.

Race: Alpha Invite Day 1 (2 Miles) 00:11:47

We got there a little and didn't know we were supposed to get bibs. I just went and tried to finish the race.

Race: Alpha Invite day 2 (1 Miles) 00:05:13

During the warmup I felt great and I was ready to kill it and I did. I got a new PR on the mile (5:13).

Shout out to Connor Baller cuz he prounced my name correctly the first time.

Hahah thanks for the shout out! and congrats on the PR!

15 miles at average of 6:45 pace. Me, Bill, and Sarah went to rail trail at Park City, what great place to run.

Easy 40 min run to loosen up from yesterday. Probably got 4 miles in.

Oh man! Today was one tough day. We did 1 mile warmup and 1 mile of speed changes. During the warmup I asked Bill what our workout was going to be and he said it was couple of 200s, 5*1000s and couple of more 400s at the end. Thought he was kidding, but we ended up doing 2X200, 5X1000, and 2X400s. On the 400s I had to do another one because I did not hit exactly what time I was supposed to. I did not time myself on the 200s so I don't know my spilts, but the 1000s they were: 3:29, 3:31, 3:28, 3:34, 3:34. On the 400s I went 76, 76, 76. Cooled down to 12 miles. Wasn't feeling great doing the workout, but kind of glad I ran yesterday because if hadn't probably wouldn't have to able even walk today because of fridays workout. Then went to Peer Court, thats were I volunteer, and I have ton of homework to do now.

Today we went Libety Park where we did about 10-12 strides (I wasn't counting) to loosen up more. The workout was 4 mile tempo at 6:45 pace. I ended up finishing at 25:35, which is 6:24 a mile. Felt awesome during the workout and the workout wasn't that bad either. finished up to get 10. Got 10.5 miles today.

Ran to the fence of Red Butte Garden pass the yellow gate taking the Lagacy Bridge way. On our way back we stop at Sunnyside park to do 2 800s( not fast). I hit 2:42 and 2:39 and then back to school. Felt awesome. It sucks that for the rest of the week I have to do my runs on my own since everybody else is going to Arcadia, anyway good luck all those going there. That run gave us 8 miles

Shout out to Eleanor because she came with the distance kids after long time.

Thanks for the shout out!! And thanks for reffing our chair throwing contest :)

From Sarah! on Sat, Apr 11, 2015 at 02:32:55 from 66.209.123.162

I think you mean 2:42 and 2:39 :) Cause yeah 3:42 and 3:29 are pretty slow for 800 repeats!

8 miles on my own today. Went to Liberty from my house and did 2 laps there and came back home. My pace was pretty good I finished the whole workout in less than an hour. Good luck to all racing tomorrow at Arcadia.

Seven miles around my neighborhood today.

10 miles at a pretty fast pace.

Easy 6 miles today.

Today me and Sarah ran from school to Cottonwood Complex and there we did 4 super long hill strides and back to the school. I did pretty good, but coming back was hard because I had to push me pace a lot to get be done before five, my pace was fast. Wasn't a bad workout. Got 12.5 to 13

Went to oval, did normal warmup of 2 mile jog and 1 more mile of speed changes and than did 3X1 mile @ 2 mile pace and 2X 800 ( I think these were were also at 2 mile pace) my splits were 5:36, 5:47 ( on this one we did not went fast enough so I had to kick the last 400), 5:49. I think the last one was slower because I had wasted all my energy at that kick on the previous one. On the 800s I went 2:52,2:52. Cooled down to 12. For some reason we did our cool down and recovery at fast pace.

Took the Shriners way to city creek canyon and did memory grove and back to school. The snow was bad.  I don't understand what is wrong with the weather in Utah.

Shout out to Sarah cuz she is now offically commited to SUU.

That's right! I signed! Thanks for the shout out, you're awesome :)

I had to miss practice today because I had to attend this meeting so I did 8 miles on my own. My legs felt heavy and just wasn't feeling very well today. I am glad that the weather is back to normal. I again have to do my pre-meet workout by myself tomorrow.

Girls are doing steeple tomorrow at BYU, good luck to them.

Today again on my own. Ran down to Granite High Track, Which is about .75 miles from my house, and did another lap there and did 2 mile of speed changes and did another lap again around the track and back home. I am running the mile and 800 ( I don't like 800s) tomorrow at Taylorsville Invite.

Shout out to all the East girls who did steeple at BYU today cuz according to Bill's comment on Sarah's blog, they all did awesome.

Good Job Diwas, No broken bones, or concussions, so all is well with our Steeple Chase Runners. Sarah with a little work may be a really good steeple runner. Now Tresa is a question though, her first time over the water I thought she might stop on the barrier and pull out some sun tanning lotion, but she made the plunge into the deepest part and waded her way out to finish all 5 laps. All four of our girls finished in the top 10:)

Did 5 miles today at decent pace.

I am a little disappointed on my yesterday's performance because I thought I had worked hard the last 2 weeks and I thought would PR for sure, but I guess I didn't work hard enough so I am going to work even harder from now on. That probably was my last race this season, but the next time I race I am gonna kill it for sure.

Don't forget about region! And we had a tough week last week, come region you will definitely kill it. And you still beat my time :) keep up the hard work, it will pay off for sure! Get that sub 5:10 :)

From Diwas G. on Mon, Apr 20, 2015 at 21:44:50 from 98.202.237.209

oh yea, I forgot about the region.

Did normal 2 miles warmup and 1 more miles of speed changes as a part of the warmup. The workout was 1X2000 @ 2 mile pace, 3X500, 3X400, 3X300 @ mile pace. I hit 7:07, 1:40, 1:40, 1: 42, 77, 79, 79, 56, 52, 56.  I did not feel very good at the start of the 300s, my stomach started to ache, but I got over with it and I felt good after. I lost my focus on the 300s, I just wanted to get over with them so thats probably why my times are slow. cooled down to 12.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 12.00

Normal track warmup. Did a lap around sunnyside and came back to the Asphalt hill and did 10 hill strides there. Went to the 200 start line at track and did 6 200s. I hit 33,35,35,35,34,33. Got water and did another 400@ 73. Cooled down for 6 Miles. Overall good and tough workout. My left leg isn't very happy after that workout today.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 12.00

I just realized that I haven't blob logged for more than a week, from now on I will be more consistent. Today's run was awesome which was 6 miles long and easy. Good luck all the people racing at BYU this weekend.

I have to find what how put my miles in my blog, if anybody knows plz comment below.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 6.00

Ran to the U of U track did a mile of speed changes there to warmup even more. and did 2 sets of 1000, 400,200,400,200. I hit 2:27, 74, 36 (no good), 76, 37 (even worse), 2:42 ( oh man what is happening), 77, 37, 80, 39 ( I am not even goona say anything about the last part). Was a good workout, but I wasn't able hit my times as well as I had wanted but I guess one good thing was that the workout woke me up cuz Iwas feeling sleeping the whole day. Ran to east for cool down.

We have regions on Wednesday and Thursday so that will be awesome.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 11.00

Went to liberty and did a lap of fire man at a easy effort and came back to school. Legs weren't feeling great at first, but got better after.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 5.00

Bad day today. We had regions and I ran the 1600 I think my time was 5: 17 (not good). I went out to slow and stayed like that for the first two laps and I really had to work the second half which was hard. Next I will go for it from the beginning, I will not wait.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 4.00

Easy 4 miles on my own.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 4.00

Went down to Liberty and did 2 mile of speed changes at the 400s and back to school. I am going to the JV region tomorrow. Took AP Biology Exam today earlier in the day and it was brutal, but I am glad I took it.

After tomorrow Track over for me. I am excited for XC next year, it is gonna be aweeeesome!!!!

I miss you too Connor. I haven't blogging lately because I haven't been running, but I will starting next week and I hope will see you at some xc meet next year.

Haha k sick dude!

I am back in running!!!! I went 2 out and 2 back. It didn't felt as bad as I was expecting it would feel after not running for more than 3 weeks. Anyways it feels great to be back and I am really excited for XC season.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 4.00

Ran up to liberty from my home which is 2.5 miles and went 1/2 mile more and back the same way home.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 6.00

AM: XC team workout. We meet at Sugar House and went on a Cemetery run. Going out I felt great and fast, but at the middle when we were getting back, I had to tie my shoelaces, so I stopped, while everybody else on the group kept going. By the time I was finished everybody was head of me so the whole way back I was alone and that made  it a lot harder plus I was getting tired and lacking motivation. That run gave us little more than 7.25, but I needed 10.

PM: I added 2.8 miles at about 8:30 at night to get the mileages. It feels great to run at that time.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 10.00

I am writing this blog report the day after the run because I forgot the day of the run. Our run was at trailhead so I took bus there the most of the way and ran the next 1.2 mile to get to the start because bus didn't go there. The run on the trail was good; I felt awesome.

Asics Gel-Exalt Miles: 8.20

AM: XC workout with the team. Ran on the PipeLine trail. I felt fine during the run. I think I am now finally starting to get back into shape.

PM: Later I added some miles to get to ten for today and yesterday because I didn't got  to 10 yesterday. I am going for 60 miles these week, so far I am on track to get that. Did my core after the run.
